How It Works

The goal of TryAnyWatch is simple: give you a realistic preview of how a watch will look on your wrist.

To do this, the system combines your wrist photo with the real-world dimensions of the watch. It is not just about pasting a watch image on top—it is about getting the proportions right so you can see if the watch feels too small, too big, or just right.

Step by Step

  1. 1. Upload Your Wrist Photo

Take a clear picture of your wrist. It's even better if you're wearing a watch, but a bare wrist works too. Good lighting helps.

  2. 2. Select a Watch

Pick the watch you want to try on from the catalog.

  3. 3. Generation

The system overlays the watch on your wrist photo, adjusting for both:

    • Your wrist size
    • The watch case size (mm)
  4. 4. Result

You get an image of how the watch might look on your wrist.

Important Notes

Right now, this is still a beta experiment, so:

  • The sizing is not perfectly accurate yet — it is close, but not exact.
  • Angles and lighting in your wrist photo can affect the result.
  • Some watches look better than others depending on the image.
  • Think of it as a helpful preview, not a replacement for trying a watch in real life.

Why This Matters

Buying a watch is personal. A spec sheet might tell you “40mm,” but how that feels on your wrist depends on your wrist size, shape, and even personal style.

TryAnyWatch is here to reduce that guesswork—so you can see if a watch feels like “you” before making a decision.

Help Me Improve It

This project is a work in progress, built in my spare time. If you have feedback, ideas, or if something looks off, I would love to hear from you.
